The Parties have reached a proposed settlement for $7,500,000 in cash (the “Settlement”) for the benefit of the Settlement Class, which is subject to approval by the Court.

The Settlement Class includes all persons or entities who purchased or otherwise acquired Navient common stock between January 18, 2017 and November 20, 2018, except those persons or entities that are excluded.

Excluded from the Settlement Class are certain persons and entities (see paragraph 6 of the Notice) or those who request exclusion pursuant to the instructions set forth in the Notice (see paragraph 13 of the Notice).

Payments to eligible claimants will be made only if the Court approves the Settlement and a Plan of Allocation, only after any appeals are resolved, and after the completion of all claims processing. Please be patient, as this process will take some time to complete.
